Financially · Irreversibly · In Canadian Dollars
That number is real. It is zero because nobody has bought anything yet.
Remembered by this browser only. If you clear your history or switch devices, these disappear — so keep the links somewhere real.
People ask. It is a fair question. Here is the entire mechanism, start to finish.
Our complimentary owning service. Press the button and the machine will attempt to own a lib at no cost to you.
Awaiting instruction.
The counter is accurate. It has not moved because nothing has happened yet.
Ownership confers a specific and clearly defined set of rights. Here they are.
The list on the right is longer. We considered padding the left one out and decided against it.
Any amount from one dollar up. More Freedom Dollars means more libs owned and a more decorated certificate. It does not mean a better certificate.
Enter an amount to see how many libs that owns.
All sales are final. There are no refunds.
Asking for one would mean demanding your money back from a deal you entered freely after being told this. That is lib behaviour. It would be a self-own, and we log those.
Charged in Canadian dollars. All sales are final.
We cannot separate Alberta from Canada. We can separate you from your Canadian dollars. This is the half of the process we are actually qualified to perform, and we perform it immediately.
Choose an amount. It leaves. You receive a Certificate of Separation recording precisely how many Canadian dollars you are no longer burdened by.
Enter an amount to separate from.
The certificate is stamped Alberta Remains In Canada, because it does. The separation is permanent. All sales are final, so you stay separated.
No.
No. Lib ownership is distributed across the general population of libs and is not assignable to any individual. If you have a particular lib in mind, that is a matter between you and them and has nothing to do with us.
Nothing. They continue their lives entirely unaffected. Many of them are having a considerably better week than you are.
We decided it. There is no committee, no index, and no oversight body. There was a conversation, and then there was a rate.
Because the American dollar is worth more Canadian dollars. That is the entire reason. It is not a patriotism bonus, although we understand completely why you assumed it was.
There is no secondary market. We looked into establishing one. There is no market.
No. We are not a charity, not a non-profit, and not registered with anyone. We are a website that sells a picture.
One (1) image file, bearing your name and a number. That is the complete list of what you receive.
A scam requires deception. We publish a page listing everything this does not do, everything it does not fund, and exactly where your money goes. Read it and decide for yourself.
We forward money to no one. That includes causes you like and causes you do not.
A guy in Alberta.
No. All sales are final, and the certificate is delivered the instant you pay. But consider what you would be asking: you would be demanding your money back from a transaction you entered freely, having been told this exact thing beforehand. That is lib behaviour. Requesting a refund would be a self-own, and it would be the only genuine act of lib-owning ever recorded on this website. We would have to log it. The count is public.
Physical flags. Alberta, Canada, or America. Not available yet — we are working out how many to buy, which is what this form is for. Country of origin will be stated on the product page. It is China. It was always going to be China.
0 patriots awaiting deployment.
Every certificate records the alleged means by which the libs were owned. None of these methods constitute ownership. Click any of them to read the full document.
Nobody has bought a certificate and asked to be listed. When somebody does, they will appear here, and not one second before. We do not run a fake activity feed.
Certain functionality may be limited until more libs have been owned. This is not how software works. It is, however, how we have chosen to explain it, and we are sticking with that.
If something is actually broken, tell us.
A certificate that never arrived, an image that will not load, a payment that went through and did nothing — email support@goconme.com and we will fix it. That part is not a joke. The charge on your statement reads GOCONME, which will help you find it.
We read every email that arrives here. We reply to the ones where something is broken. We do not reply to opinions about the website, which we also read, and which we enjoy considerably more.
